The Birth of German Club

I am under the impression that everyone should experiment and try a few different languages because you never know who you may meet who doesn't speak English. It is a double edged sword that many people abroad are essentially forced to learn English.

On the one hand, this is great for Brits abroad wanting to be understood. On the other hand, it completely destroys the percieved need for Brits to learn another language as "everybody speaks English anyway".
I learn German daily using Duolingo and I implore you to do the same! You can check my account out here.

I love German. I achieved a grade 8 at GCSE level but unfortunately I was unable to choose the subject for A-Level. I now run the German Club at my college, averaging around 15-20 attendees per week. I type up sentence builders and create some PowerPoint slides to aid the lessons.
